Mentors
Mentors guide learners through mentor-led Bible study. You invite mentees, assign discipleship tracks, review their step notes, grade quizzes when needed, and walk them through phase promotion when they are ready.
Mentorship in Garrison is invitation-only — no church auto-assignment in v1. Studies stay on the mentee’s account; you access them through an active pairing.

Mentor responsibilities at a glance

| Pairing | Invite mentees (or accept their invite). You must be Meat phase or higher. |
| Onboarding | Optionally assign a getting-to-know intro study, then pick a track that matches the mentee’s spiritual phase. |
| Track progress | Assign the next plan on the track, choose electives when you are the selector, or skip optional modules. |
| Step review | Write mentor-lane notes, review mentee reflections, grade subjective quiz answers, attest outcomes. |
| Promotion | When the track is complete, assign and run a phase checkup study, then confirm promotion on the final step. |
How this differs from mentee study
Section titled “How this differs from mentee study”Mentees own their studies and write in the mentee lane. You work in the mentor lane on review steps and open their studies from your mentorship page — not from your personal study list.
