Quizzes
Quizzes live in a shared bank. You build them once, then attach them to any study plan step that asks learners to answer questions.

Build a quiz
Section titled “Build a quiz”- Create a new quiz and open the editor.
- Set the title and passing score.
- Add questions — multiple choice, true/false, short answer, essay, and other types available in the editor.
- Optionally link learning outcomes to a question or add alternate wordings for different learning styles.
- Choose how questions appear on each attempt:
- All questions every time, or
- Random selection — a set number drawn from the pool (helpful for retakes).
- Publish the quiz when it is ready. Learners cannot take a draft quiz on a live study.
- On a study plan step, use the quiz picker to attach this quiz. Edit quiz on that step jumps back here.
Essay and open-ended questions
Section titled “Essay and open-ended questions”Questions that need a human to grade (such as essays) automatically add follow-up steps to the study: someone grades the responses, then the learner reviews the feedback. Plan the main quiz step knowing that flow will appear for mentored and individual studies as appropriate.
Fully auto-scored quizzes finish when the learner passes — no extra grading steps.
AI review
Section titled “AI review”When AI authoring is enabled, use Review on the quiz editor for suggestions. Review does not change your questions; you decide what to update.
