Vision

This project started with a personal problem where I have a hard time remembering to take time for prayer and Bible study. I am a very task-based person. When I do study, I can become overwhelmed with the information, though I moderate this by slowing down and writing out my thoughts in OneNote.

Going beyond me, I see a lot of churches do not engage in Bible study, often because those studies are done by spiritually-young Christians.

  1. Establish a method of helping individuals with study
  • Find ways to establish good habits, using both extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.
  • Provide methods for effective study, going beyond just reading the Bible.
  • For Fathers, create tooling to be the spiritual leader of the family
  1. Establish a discipleship program between individuals
  • Spiritual development for all spiritual ages, all learning types, and all personalities. Physical age is less important than spiritual age. The main concern with physical age is maturity and adult topics.
  • Establish initial phases, such as milk, transition, and meat phases. Milk includes basic knowledge and doctrine without a lot of explanation.
  • Create a theological forum for graduates
  • Facilitate mentorship, both above and below individual’s level (except the bottom 2 phases)
  • For meat level, establish spiritual gift focused curriculum
  1. Find good uses of AI that will not dampen the work of the Holy Spirit
  • Reduce decision fatigue when no topic is desired

Note about curriculum: The curriculum is not a bunch of content, but instead a guide. My personal belief is that one should not just read content, but teach it out of one’s heart. However, there are times when content is needed because knowledge is lacking, and that is when the app should point elsewhere.
